Puertollano
HISTORY
Ferroglobe Advanced Materials started its production in 2023, in the La Nava Industrial Park in Puertollano. Currently, its main product is purified silicon metal with a concentration of up to 99,995% Silicon. This high purity silicon is employed in advanced applications, including semiconductors, advanced ceramics such as silicon carbide and silicon nitride, high-silicon alloys, batteries, and other high-performance technologies.

- 500 kW induction furnaces.
- Solidification equipment.
- Crushing and classification facility.
- Laboratory: Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS).
